Therapy isn't just for people facing major difficulties, it can be helpful for anyone.
Feeling anxious, low or overwhelmed from time to time is completely normal and talking to someone can make a real difference.
Psychodynamic therapy gives us space to notice patterns, feelings and relationships in a thoughtful, gentle way.
All my appointments are online, offering a private and convenient space to meet from wherever you are.
Psychodynamic therapy
Anxiety often acts like a pressure cooker, building up as constant worry or physical tension when deeper, painful feelings get locked away. "Psychodynamic" is really just a fancy word for looking beneath the surface to find the true root cause of your stress. It can sound intimidating, but it doesn't mean we will just analyse your past or get stuck dwelling on childhood memories. Instead, we will gently trace how early life experiences created automatic coping habits that still linger today. By bringing these hidden patterns directly into the here and now, we can safely make sense of the emotions driving your anxiety.
